Calqulate, a leading South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm, is actively hiring a Tax Senior Associate to support individual and business taxation services. Flexible locations are available across North and South Carolina for the right candidate, with potential for partnership and ongoing growth within the firm.

The role requires 1+ years in public accounting and a CPA/EA in progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA or EA in progress is a plus.
• 1+ years' experience in public accounting reviewing individual and business taxation.
• Strong client-service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in individual and business taxation.
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates.
• Coordinate with team members on all phases of the Tax engagement.
• Review individual and business tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Provide high-level client service.
• Keep current on tax law changes and accounting-related developments and best practices.
• Work with team members for continual process improvement.
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities.
• Develop an area of tax specialization.
