Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services team in Minneapolis. You will supervise multiple engagements, prepare complex federal/state/international tax returns, and conduct research to ensure compliance with tax laws.

You will guide interns and associates while communicating with clients and delivering proactive solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration within a growing PCS team, with opportunities to advance and contribute to high-net-worth client service

Qualifications

• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or mix of public/private
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and/or entities
• Familiarity with federal, state, multi-state and international tax issues

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple engagements including consulting, compliance, and tax planning services
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns
• Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices as required
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager
• Mentor Interns and Associates

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple engagements which include consulting, compliance, and tax planning services.
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns.
• Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Appropriately respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager.
• Work as part of an integrated team.
• Assist with the training and mentoring of Interns and Associates.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
• 4+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or with a mix of public/private experience
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trust/estates, and or entities

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or parts passed towards completion, or IRS (Internal Revenue Service) Enrolled Agent Certification
• Experience using ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, XCM or similar tax software

For Minnesota candidates, the expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
