Job summary

Career Legal is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join its growing tax team. This role offers meaningful client exposure, career development, and long‑term advancement within a well‑established public accounting firm.

Key duties include preparing and reviewing federal and state returns, quarterly estimates, and tax provisions; serving corporate, partnership, and individual clients; researching tax issues; and mentoring staff for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• CPA license or currently pursuing CPA.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CCH Axcess experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns
• Prepare quarterly estimates and tax provisions
• Provide tax services to corporate, partnership, and individual clients
• Research and resolve federal, state, and local tax issues
• Participate in client meetings and develop tax strategies
• Provide training and guidance to Tax Staff
