CohnReznick, a leading advisory, assurance, and tax firm, is looking for a Tax Senior Associate to join our Denver, CO office on a hybrid schedule. You will lead engagement teams, plan engagements, prepare budgets and schedules, and contribute to proposals while building strong client relationships in the Affordable Housing group.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's, 3–5 years of tax experience in public accounting, and CPA/JD/EA credentials preferred.

Qualificações

• CPA, JD or EA preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Affordable Housing Industry experience preferred.
• Exceptional client service & communication skills with demonstrated relationships.
• Strong tax research and writing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Go Systems, BNA, CCH, RI.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CR team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
• CPA, JD or EA preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Affordable Housing Industry experience preferred
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Strong tax research and writing skills
• Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Competence with tax compliance and research software to include Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RI
• Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task

In Colorado, the salary range for a Tax Senior Associate is $80,000 to $115,000. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
