Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Financial Services Organization (FSO) EDGE Wealth and Asset Management team. You will collaborate with experienced professionals on hedge funds, private equity, and mutual fund taxation, including structuring, planning, and advisory services.

You will support client relationships, deliver tax compliance and consulting services, and supervise staff while maintaining service quality across tax engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• 2–3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent in financial services.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax.
• Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Hybrid work model: most client-facing roles in person ~60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing client relationships.
• Provide compliance and consulting delivery to meet deadlines for client deliverables.
• Prepare or detail review of complex tax filings and related processes.
• Compile and evaluate moderately complex data and taxes using various technologies.
• Ensure service quality and manage opportunity risk within the scope of services.
• Develop, document, and gain cross-functional alignment on processes to support internal teams.
• Provide professional direction and supervise staff.
• Maintain internal network and provide technical assistance.
• Demonstrate technical excellence and broaden skills across capabilities.
