Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in Tipton, IA, with hybrid/remote flexibility. The role focuses on income tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, along with compilation, review, payroll, and other accounting services.

You will nurture strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of our clients' businesses. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting, at least four years of direct accounting experience, and preferably a CPA or CPA-track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of direct accounting experience.
• CPA certificate preferred or CPA exam pursued.
• Bonus points for QuickBooks and/or UltraTax experience.
• Strong sense of self-motivation, a team player mindset, and integrity.

Hybrid or REMOTE

This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, enabling you to work both remotely and in our Tipton, Iowa office. To be considered, candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

As a Senior Staff Accountant, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tax and accounting services, including income tax planning and preparation for both individuals and businesses, compilation, review, payroll, and various other accounting services. This role also provides a unique opportunity to foster strong client and colleague relationships. You will be a part of creating connections that contribute to the successful growth of our clients' businesses.

Qualifications
