Job summary

Culturetech Solutions in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Tax Senior to join our on-site tax team. You will prepare and review complex federal, state, and local returns for individuals, C-Corps, partnerships, trusts, and estates, and provide planning and advisory support to high-net-worth clients.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of public accounting or relevant tax experience.
  • CPA or EA required; CPA eligibility considered.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
  • Expertise in corporate and partnership tax preparation.
  • Knowledge of partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth taxation.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

Summary

The Tax Senior will work closely with business owners, executives, high-net-worth individuals, and independent professionals to prepare and review complex tax returns, provide tax planning and advisory support, and serve as a trusted client resource across a broad range of federal, state, and local tax matters.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, including individual, high-net-worth, C-Corporation, S-Corporation, partnership, trust, and estate returns.

Manage multiple tax engagements while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.

Provide tax planning, research, and advisory services to clients.

Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategies tailored to individual client needs.

Review tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

Assist clients with tax audits, notices, and inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted tax advisor.

Collaborate with accounting and advisory team members to provide comprehensive client solutions.

Research and stay current on changes to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Assist with mentoring and providing guidance to junior and staff-level tax professionals.

Qualifications

3-7 years of public accounting or relevant tax experience preferred.

CPA or EA Required; CPA eligibility will also be considered.

Strong experience preparing and reviewing a variety of individual and business tax returns.

Expertise in corporate and partnership tax preparation.

Demonstrated knowledge of partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individual taxation.

Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

  • Salary range of $100,000 - $150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
