Job summary

Catalyst Family Office is seeking a Tax Senior in Austin, TX to join our dedicated tax team and take increased ownership of project management and implementation. The role focuses on delivering tax compliance and advisory services to ultra-affluent clients, with opportunities to advance client work and internal processes.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of tax experience, strong technical skills with leading tax software, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and not-for-profits.
• Proficiency with tax software: BNA, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, trusts, partnerships and not-for-profit clients.
• Assist tax interns and tax associates.
• Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities.
• Bring unusual or significant tax questions to the attention of the manager or partner.
• Tackle increasingly complex accounting and/or tax issues.
• Remain knowledgeable with up-to-date on industry developments.

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, trusts, partnerships and not-for-profit clients.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more full time work tax compliance experience in individual, partnership, trust and not-for-profit entities.
• Proficiency in common tax technology preparation and reporting software (BNA Income Tax Planner, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, MS Office(advanced excel capabilities).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to details.
