Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a Tax Reporting Analyst to support the Outsourcing Delivery team within Tax Solutions. The role focuses on reviewing and validating international tax documents, client data collection, and timely return preparation for major financial institutions and multinational corporations.

The candidate should have 1–3 years in client service, strong MS Excel, analytical skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in front-facing client service with strong communication.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas/v-lookups).
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and multitasking under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in front-facing financial data operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct tax document return and transmittal examination (IRS Forms 1099, 1042, 8966 and CRS).
  • Act as client relationship lead for tax reporting processes and data collection, return generation, review and submission.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients and handle day-to-day review and escalations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on tax guidance and industry practices.
  • Address tax compliance requests and remediation with clients as part of audit exposure elimination.
