Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Tax Reporting Analyst to support outsourcing delivery for major financial institutions. You will lead the review, validation and submission of tax documents, coordinate client communications, and ensure compliance with IRS and CRS requirements.

The role requires 1–3 years in client-facing service, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in front-facing client service role with strong communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas/v-lookups).
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and multitasking with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct tax document return and transmittal examination (IRS Forms 1099, 1042, 8966 and CRS XMLs) per standards.
• Act as client relationship lead for tax reporting processes including data collection, return generation, and client review.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients handling day-to-day reviews and urgent escalations.
• Provide subject matter expertise on statutes, tax guidance and industry best practices.
• Address tax compliance requests with clients per IRS and outsourcing protocols.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting withholding and reporting.
• Address client queries on S&P software and tax return validation; participate in status conferences.
• Demonstrate ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Comply with all company policies including data protection and confidentiality.
• Complete required drug tests and background checks as needed.
