Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll conduct interviews, prepare returns, provide IRS support, and seek opportunities to grow the client base within a fast-paced franchise office in Oklahoma.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in accounting, CPA or EA certification, and 5+ years of tax/accounting experience. You’ll work with virtual tools and ongoing education to stay compliant and informed.

Qualifications

• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
