H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll conduct tax interviews, prepare complete and accurate returns, and leverage expert support to grow client relationships.

Bring 5+ years in accounting, CPA/EA preferred, and comfort with virtual tools. You will mentor teammates, meet IRS/state requirements, and participate in ongoing tax training to help clients make informed financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

  • Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
