H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs and to participate in advanced tax training. You’ll interview clients, prepare returns, and help grow the business while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes in-office and virtual client interactions, with opportunities to mentor teammates and expand your tax knowledge through ongoing education and IRS/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with virtual tax interviews and tax planning.
• Sales/marketing experience is a plus.

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
