H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for seasonal work to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll receive advanced tax training and support from a specialized team to be successful.

Role focuses on conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, and growing the client base while delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment, including virtual tools and in-person interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) recommended.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
