You’ll interview clients, prepare returns, and support growth while working with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, including virtual tools for remote or hybrid interactions.

The role emphasizes client service, compliance with IRS/state rules, and collaboration with colleagues to deliver tax solutions and enhance client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
