H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs. You will participate in advanced tax training and serve clients with confidence, leveraging virtual tools and guidance from the expert team.

The role emphasizes completing tax interviews, preparing accurate returns, and generating growth while maintaining client relationships. Training and support are provided throughout the season.

• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representation for Circular 230)

Joining H&R Block1 as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
