Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional in Iowa to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS support with a view to growing client relationships through expert advice.

This role requires a CPA/EA certification or enrollment, 5+ years in accounting/tax, and comfort working with virtual interview tools. Franchise office specifics apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
