H&R Block in Celina, Ohio is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs and to deliver high-quality service with the support of our expert team.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete and accurate returns, and provide IRS support while pursuing ongoing education and professional certification requirements. This role offers flexible seasonal hours and opportunities to grow with a trusted national brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required or in progress.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

  • Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
