Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Process Strategy & Solutions Manager to drive end-to-end tax engagement processes, improve tooling, and align product delivery with practice needs. You will partner with tax SMEs, IT, and practice leaders to design scalable workflows and implement enhancements across tax applications.

The role requires 5–7 years in accounting or large-scale implementations, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or technology, and CPA or EA certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Technology required or preferred.
• CPA or EA certification preferred; Lean Six Sigma and/or IIBA certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting or large-scale implementation facing roles.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with process leads and SMEs to align products with the overall vision for business areas.
• Acts as primary SME for how third-party or custom solutions are used in tax engagement team processes, maintaining lifecycle expertise.
• Establishes usage targets with Change Management and practice leaders; assesses performance against these targets.
• Understands long-term strategy of products within the digital ecosystem and end-user processes; supports process mapping and requirements.
• Partners with practice leaders and SMEs to define requirements for integrations and vendor enhancements.
• Maintains end-user product documentation and training materials.
• Leads efforts to improve internal processes, controls, and procedures through documentation, validation, and testing.
• Manages contracts and renewals for CATT solutions with stakeholders.
