Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Tax Principal or Senior Manager for a remote role serving high net worth clients and medical practices. The position requires a strong background in tax compliance, planning, and leadership within public accounting.

You'll manage complex federal and multi-state returns, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with partners to deliver exceptional client service. A CPA or equivalent and 5+ years of tax experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing tax compliance and consulting engagements with high net worth clients and their related business entities, dental practice clients, and small healthcare practice clients.
• Providing innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients.
• Reviewing complex tax returns including federal and multi-state returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients through exceptional client service.
• Leading, training, and mentoring junior staff members.
• Collaborating with partners and staff on client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's Degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on taxation.
• Proven experience in managing high net worth clients and their related business entities, dental practice clients, and small healthcare practice clients.
• Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, review experience a plus.
• Exceptional client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and budgets.
• Proficient in tax software and technology.
