Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level tax assistant to help start and finish client interviews, enter data, and assemble returns. You will focus on delivering accurate information and friendly service.

This role emphasizes reading and math skills, clear communication, and proficiency with Windows-based programs. You will work with clients to ensure signatures and proper documentation, while adhering to office procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities
