Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an assistant to help start and close tax interviews. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program and assist in assembling the tax return. You will also review the finished product with the client and ensure accurate signatures.

Additionally, you will complete bookkeeping procedures and strive to deliver superior service to every client, handling all other duties as assigned through the role.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, and review with the client.
• Complete bookkeeping procedures and ensure superior service for all clients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
