Job summary

H&R Block in Fairfield, IA is seeking a tax interview assistant to enter client and W-2 information into the tax program and help close the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the product with the client.

You will complete bookkeeping procedures and support the team to ensure every client receives superior service. This role requires a high school diploma and strong basic math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
