Job summary

You will prepare tax returns for commercial and nonprofit clients using ProConnect Tax, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and help identify tax saving opportunities.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of tax laws, and excellent communication skills. CPA/EA credentials are preferred, with an accounting or finance degree required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience preparing commercial and/or non-profit tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state individual income tax laws, deductions, credits, and tax planning strategies.
• Ability to identify errors, resolve tax issues, and ensure returns are accurate and compliant.
• Experience using professional tax software; ProConnect Tax preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to clients
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple returns and deadlines.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or other relevant tax credentials preferred.
