Qualifications

• EA certification or Annual Tax Preparer certification, or pursuing certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-volume individual and small business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, etc.).
• Communicate with clients to collect documentation and clarify tax questions.
• Organize and maintain tax files and supporting documentation.
• Research tax issues and provide solutions or recommendations.
• Assist with e-filing and resolving IRS/state notices.
• Support the accounting team during tax season and extensions.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all client communications.

What You’ll Do:
As a Tax Preparer, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals and businesses stay compliant and financially healthy. We’ll provide support and training to help you grow in your role and expand your knowledge in tax and accounting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Prepare high volume and individual and small business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, etc.)
• Communicate directly with clients to collect documentation and clarify tax questions
• Organize and maintain tax files and supporting documentation
• Research tax issues and provide solutions or recommendations
• Assist with e-filing and resolving IRS/state notices
• Support the accounting team during tax season and extensions
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all client communications
