Job summary

Moneco Advisors, LLC is seeking a Tax Manager to lead our integrated tax practice within a full-service wealth management firm. This leadership role owns the quality and delivery of the firm’s tax work, reviews returns, and manages client relationships while guiding and developing the tax team.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned tax professional who desires ownership of a practice, not just a stack of returns, with opportunity for growth as the firm expands across offices.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA required.
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience, including review responsibility.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or managing tax staff.
• Strong technical depth across individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate returns.
• Tax planning experience with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee returns for accuracy and technical soundness.
• Serve as the firm’s technical resource on complex filing positions.
• Manage responses to IRS and state notices and examinations.
• Own client relationships and serve as primary point of contact throughout engagements.
• Partner with wealth advisors to integrate tax and financial planning strategies.
• Lead and develop tax associates, manage workflow and deadlines.
