Moneco Advisors, a fast-growing wealth management firm in New England, seeks a Tax Manager to lead the integrated tax practice. You will own the client relationships, review returns, and drive planning with our advisory team.

As a leader, you will mentor tax staff, manage workflow, and help expand the practice across offices while upholding compliance and technical excellence. This role offers ownership and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA required.
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience, including review responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, or managing tax staff.
• Strong technical depth across individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate returns.
• Tax planning experience with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts.
• RIA or wealth management industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with tax software including Lacerte, TaxDome, and SurePrep; Microsoft Office Suite; QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-first orientation.

Responsibilities

• Review returns for accuracy and technical soundness across tax types.
• Manage responses to IRS and state correspondence.
• Own client relationships and engagement lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop tax associates; manage workflow.
• Improve processes and support growth of the tax practice.
