Job summary

Anderson Business Advisors seeks an experienced tax advisor to deliver planning and compliance services to clients nationwide. You will consult on complex returns, review filings, and advocate with tax authorities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes client communication, upholding accuracy, and ongoing process improvements within a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA/EA or attorney with tax specialization.
• 2–3 years of experience in tax preparation or advisory services at a CPA firm.
• 2 years of experience preparing individual (1040) federal and state tax returns and business (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041) tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert tax planning and compliance services to clients.
• Maintain knowledge of tax laws and planning strategies; advise clients accordingly.
• Review tax returns and assist with signing; participate in client consultations.
• Communicate with clients nationwide via phone, email, and video calls; advocate with tax authorities as needed.
• Support and guide junior staff; contribute to team goals and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax preparation and review processes; implement best practices.
