Job summary

Green Lion Search Group is recruiting a Tax Partner to join the private client services practice serving high net worth individuals in Houston. The role focuses on leading tax planning, compliance and advisory work for families and business owners with complex needs.

Ideal candidates are current partners or MDs with substantial private client tax experience, especially from the Big Four, and a track record of building client relationships and leading teams.

Qualifications

• Strong private client tax experience with high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and grow the practice.
• Experience leading complex tax engagements and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax planning, compliance and advisory relationships for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Address interactions between personal income taxes, business ownership and investment holdings.
• Coordinate estate, gift, trust and succession planning with clients’ legal and financial advisors.
• Oversee complex engagements, maintain technical quality and client service.
• Build referral relationships and identify opportunities to expand the private client practice.
• Mentor professionals and manage engagement staffing, delivery and financial performance.
