Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC in Austin seeks an experienced Tax Partner to lead a team delivering tax planning, consulting, and compliance for middle-market clients, with emphasis on pass-through entities.

You’ll coach managers and staff, drive business development, and act as a trusted advisor to clients while leveraging your network to expand the practice. Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPA license.
• Significant expertise with pass-through entity taxation.
• Professional Services, Industrial Manufacturing, and/or Private Equity clients is a plus.
• Exceptional client service and delivery capabilities.
• Strong leadership and staff development for coaching a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with partners and advising clients.

This individual will lead a team to deliver tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to middle-market businesses, with a primary focus on pass-through entity taxation. Relocation assistance may be offered. You’ll use your client service team leadership skills, acting as a role model, to provide coaching, mentoring, and training in the development of managers and staff. To continue our success, we’re looking for a partner who will contribute to expanding the practice by using their strong professional network of business contacts and referral sources and by engaging in business development opportunities with other firm leaders.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPA license.
• Requires significant expertise with Pass-through entity taxation.
• Professional Services, Industrial Manufacturing , and/or Private Equity clients is a plus.
• Exceptional client service skills leading to the highest quality of execution and delivery of client engagements.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills for coaching a client service team.
