Barclays in Whippany, NJ is seeking a Tax Operations Analyst to maintain client tax documentation and ensure IRS compliance for assigned accounts. You will collect, validate, and maintain documents while supporting the Tax Documentation team.

Successful candidates understand W-8/W-9 rules, onboarding/remediation per regulatory changes, and communicate with clients, sales, and onboarding partners using Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Experience with validating US W-8 and W-9 tax forms.
• Onboarding and remediation activities driven by regulatory changes.
• Understanding financial products in investment banking.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-bank teams to align operational processes.
• Identify improvements and implement controls to mitigate risk.
• Develop reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
