GERSON PRESTON KLEIN LIPS EISENBERG GELBER is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Tax Services division in Florida. You will review returns, oversee tax planning, and guide engagements to deliver high-quality results for diverse clients.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in accounting or taxation, CPA preferred, and strong analytical, communication, and client-service skills. This on-site role offers opportunities for growth within a boutique firm with a broad client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation; Master’s degree in taxation is a plus.
• CPA license or eligibility to take CPA exam preferred.
• Experience using tax preparation software and applications.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Great communicator with the ability to convey analysis and findings to management and clients.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide superior service.

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporation.
• Review tax adjustments to financial statements to prepare returns.
• Develop high-quality work through rigorous technical expertise and business acumen.
• Manage engagements, resources, people, and client expectations.
• Handle complete client engagements and relationships.
• Set engagement budgets and due dates.
• Complete engagements on time and on budget with high quality.
• Handle firm administrative functions (time, entry, billing, collections).
