Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking a Tax Manager to lead client relationships and ensure timely delivery of annual tax products and monthly financial work. You’ll oversee payroll, tax, and business records, prepare corporate and individual tax returns, and grow client relationships with solid business knowledge.

Requirements include 3+ years in a similar public accounting role, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and CPA certification or progress toward it. Onsite, hybrid, or remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Preparing payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
• Preparing corporate and individual tax returns.
• Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
