You will manage client relationships, provide proactive tax planning, and guide staff through technical tax issues.

Qualifications

Active CPA license is required.
5+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm.
Experience reviewing business returns (1065/1120/1120S) and individual returns (1040/1041).
Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide advisory-level tax planning.
Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Review and sign off on complex federal and state tax returns across entity types (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041).
Serve as the primary relationship owner for a book of business, delivering proactive tax planning.
Research multi-layered tax issues and develop strategies with firm leadership.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and communicate findings clearly to clients.
Mentor, supervise, and develop junior and senior staff.
Stay current on tax law changes and translate into client guidance.
Support practice development and new-business conversations.
