Qualifications

• 4-year degree required.
• Master's degree or other advance degree desirable.
• CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent required.
• Five (5) years of experience providing tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Experience with tax compliance and consulting for private equity portfolios preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the team providing tax, accounting and advisory services to PE clients.
• Oversee accounting, bookkeeping and prepared or compiled financials.
• Review accounting records, provide analysis and consult with clients.
• Deliver best-in-class client service with responsiveness, timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead and plan client engagements and improve internal processes.
• Provide recommendations for business improvements based on client operations.
• Manage client relationships and liaise to resolve issues.
• Delegate work, set goals, allocate resources and meet deadlines.
• Stay current on tax practices and laws.
• Assist with staffing, billing, and profitability targets.
• Network and build relationships internally and externally.
• Invest in professional development and participate in firm programs.
