Job summary

CLA is looking to hire Tax Director or Manager for our growing St. Louis and Kansas City offices.

As Our Ideal Candidate: 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, CPA required. 10+ years experience highly preferred. You will consult with clients on tax planning, lead engagements, train team members, review complex returns, and contribute to client service and firm growth.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• Active CPA certification required; JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA.
• Strong advisory and leadership capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.
