Job summary

WNA CPAs seeks an experienced Tax Manager to lead the firm’s tax practice, mentor staff, develop client relationships, and contribute to strategic direction. This role combines technical tax work with advisory and practice development responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. The firm offers a flexible, hybrid work environment and a clear path to partnership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Five or more years of public accounting experience with recent tax experience.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong technical tax knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on tax returns and related filings.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
• Mentor staff accountants and seniors.
• Lead process improvements and practice development initiatives.
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations.
