Talentify's client, a well-established CPA firm in Missouri, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax return reviews and provide advisory services with significant client interaction and growth potential, including a partnership track.

The role emphasizes independence in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment, mentorship of junior staff, and the ability to handle complex tax issues with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA designation required.
• Minimum five years of tax return prep experience, with at least two years reviewing returns.
• Experience with individual and corporate filings.
• 3–5 years with compilations and financial statement prep.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 706, 709, etc.).
• Oversee financial reporting and compilations.
• Research complex tax issues and provide innovative, value-driven solutions.
• Manage client relationships with timely communication and proactive advice.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
