Good Works Talent, LLC seeks a Tax Manager to lead complex tax work, review returns, and strengthen client relationships in a growing Northern California CPA practice. You’ll collaborate with partners, mentor staff, and contribute to year-round planning while pursuing ownership potential.

The role emphasizes client service, technical depth, and the ability to guide less-experienced team members toward greater independence. Hybrid in-office work in Roseville/Grass Valley is available.

Qualifikationen

• Strong foundation in public accounting tax with experience handling complex returns.
• Ability to review work and communicate with clients.
• Experience coaching less-experienced staff and building team capability.
• Excellent client relationship management and planning skills.

• Lead sophisticated income tax work and review returns prepared by others.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with business owners and individuals.
• Coach and develop junior staff through real client work and feedback.
• Contribute to year-round tax planning, estimated payments, and year-end decisions.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to improve handoffs and onboarding processes.
