Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Master's in taxation preferred; Master in accounting beneficial.
• 3+ years public accounting experience with concentration in small business and individual taxation.
• CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements and reports to assess accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems.
• Conduct research on complex accounting and tax issues and manage staff research activities.
• Identify trends or patterns that indicate problems or solutions and evaluate costs and risks of alternatives.
• Manage engagement planning, budgeting, risk assessment and strategic development and participate in tax planning.
