Plante Moran seeks a seasoned tax professional to join its public accounting practice in the United States. You will review partnership, corporate, and individual returns, determine objectives, and lead engagements with managers, senior managers, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or Bar License required.
• 5+ years experience in public accounting.
• Overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review returns for partnership, corporate, and individual tax clients (federal, foreign, state/local).
• Determine tax objectives and participate in decision making with client management.
• Identify tax solutions and opportunities from changes in tax law.
• Leverage technology to maximize project outcomes and enforce standards.
• Serve as the primary engagement manager with billing, realization, and collections.
