Job summary

Distinct | North America in Arlington, TX is seeking a Tax Manager to own client relationships, review complex tax work, and mentor junior staff. The role is hybrid with a path to senior leadership, offering meaningful client ownership and a stable team environment.

Qualified candidates will have at least five years in public accounting tax, CPA or EA credentials, and experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, Lacerte, or UltraTax.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of tax experience in a CPA or public accounting firm.
• Comfortable reviewing returns, managing deadlines, communicating directly with clients, and developing junior staff.
• CPA or EA ideally required.
• Experience with CCH Axcess, Lacerte, or UltraTax (or other comparable software)

Responsibilities

• Review complex tax work and returns.
