NorthPoint Search Group seeks a Tax Manager in Nashville, TN for a hybrid, full-time role available immediately. This CPA-licensed professional will manage complex tax compliance and planning, oversee staff development, and serve as the primary client contact across diverse industries.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public accounting and 2+ years in management, with strong knowledge of corporate and partnership taxation and ASC 740 experience.

Tax Manager

• Nashville, TN (Hybrid)

Who: A CPA-certified tax professional with at least five years of public accounting experience and two or more years in a managerial role.

What: Manages complex tax compliance engagements, identifies tax planning opportunities, leads staff development, reviews complex returns including tax provisions, and serves as the main client point of contact.

When: Full-time hybrid role available immediately.

Where: Nashville, TN, with 2-3 days per week in office.

Position Overview

The Tax Manager will oversee client tax compliance and planning for businesses in industries including manufacturing, technology, professional services, and health/life sciences. This role involves reviewing complex returns, supporting ASC 740 tax provision work, managing deadlines, communicating with clients, and developing less experienced staff. The ideal candidate excels in technical tax matters, leadership, communication, and project management and thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
