Job summary

Talentify in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Tax Manager to join our team. The role focuses on managing preparatory work for various tax returns and coordinating complex income tax projections for clients in multiple industries.

The candidate will lead tax engagements, supervise staff, and collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality service while staying current with tax law changes and technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting skills.
• Exceptional client service and communication abilities.
• Strong leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with tax software (preferably CCH Axcess).

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, tax-exempt and other tax returns.
• Oversee income tax projections with multiple scenarios and complex analysis.
• Coordinate with client personnel to obtain essential information for delivering tax services.
• Plan and supervise schedules and analyses for income tax returns and other tax services.
• Stay updated on new technical developments and enhance communication and leadership within the firm.
