Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Data role to translate global tax regulations into scalable data solutions. You will work with tax, finance, accounting and technology teams to ensure accurate data architecture that supports compliance and strategic decisions.
The role involves collaborating with regional tax teams, data engineers and business stakeholders to implement robust data infrastructure and stay ahead of regulatory changes.
Shape how Amazon manages tax data at a global scale by translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable data solutions. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between tax compliance expertise and data strategy, ensuring our organization meets regulatory obligations across every jurisdiction we operate in.
You'll spend your time as the connective tissue between our tax, finance, and technology teams. Your day might include collaborating with data engineers to translate tax compliance requirements into system specifications, partnering with regional tax teams to understand jurisdiction-specific data needs, or working with our accounting and financial operations teams to ensure our data infrastructure supports both compliance and strategic decision-making. You'll move fluidly between technical discussions with product teams and strategic conversations with business stakeholders, helping everyone understand how robust tax data architecture enables better compliance outcomes. Beyond routine responsibilities, you'll identify emerging regulatory trends and proactively shape how our data solutions evolve to meet future requirements.
We are the Global Tax Data organization, and we're reimagining how a company of Amazon's scale manages tax information across the world. Our team brings together tax professionals, data engineers, and financial operations experts with a shared mission: build data solutions that make tax compliance simpler, more accurate, and more efficient. You'll work closely with Global, Regional, and Country Tax teams who rely on our data infrastructure to meet their compliance obligations, as well as with Technology and Financial Operations partners who help us implement these solutions. We're focused on creating scalable, reliable data systems that support Amazon's growth while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance. Joining us means being part of a team that values both deep tax expertise and innovative thinking about how data can solve complex business challenges.
