Workforce Solutions partners with leading CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are seeking a high level Tax Manager to join a respected CPA firm based in Stockton, CA.

This position is on-site and the firm emphasizes a flexible culture and supportive environment. The Tax Manager will manage client relationships while ensuring timely delivery of final annual tax products and monthly financial work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with individuals, partnerships, corporations, s-corporations, trusts, and exempt organizations is highly valued.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA required).
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing high level payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
• Preparing high level corporate and individual tax returns.
• Reviewing corporate and individual tax returns.
• Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
