Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Tax Manager in Los Angeles, CA to join the Financial Services Group in a hybrid capacity. The role focuses on leading client engagements, overseeing pre-engagement planning, and delivering accurate tax and advisory services within a national firm.

The candidate will gain exposure to private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate and other funds, with strong emphasis on collaboration across service lines and offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
• Financial Services experience preferred.
• Active CPA license required.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of CaseWare or ProSystem FX.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans.
• Illustrate budgets and schedules.
• Actively participate in proposals.
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback.
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.
