RSM US LLP, a leading professional services firm, seeks a Senior Tax professional for its Family Office Enterprise practice in Austin, TX. You will advise ultra-high-net-worth families on tax planning, compliance, and wealth strategies, while leading engagements and mentoring staff.

RSM's Family Office Enterprise (FOE) practice helps define and sustain a family's vision across their family office, operating business and investment structures. We understand the goals of ultra-high net worth families with customized, integrated Cross-Line of Business services, technology and insights. We support clients along their wealth journey, offering solutions across the family office lifecycle—from creation to transformation—with governance, family education, risk management, privacy/data security and technology outsourcing.
As a member of the FOE team, you will have the following to support your professional journey:
Exposure to strategic tax planning, business advisory and compliance work

Advise single-family, multi-family and virtual-family office clients and multi-generational families on a full spectrum of tax services including structuring and modeling, succession planning, wealth transfer planning and tax compliance
Manage and oversee the engagement team focused on entity, individual, fiduciary, and gift/estate taxation, including planning and execution of client tax engagements
Collaborate with RSM specialists regarding estate and gift planning and taxation, state and local taxation and international taxation
Provide leadership, training and career mentorship to staff and supervisor level team members
Drive and collaborate with senior leadership on growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects
Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through outstanding client service
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
CPA, EA, or JD required
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in public accounting or a family office with an emphasis on taxation. Most recent years should include experience in managing client engagements
Proficient in at least one area: entity, individual and fiduciary taxation; with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications
Familiar with multi-state taxation
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work in a collaborative team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with private client or business taxation with a desire to grow skills in the private client family office arena
Experience working with family office clients or experience working in a family office
Experience with gift and estate taxation

The salary range for this role is $95,400 – $180,400 and may vary based on factors such as education, experience, location, and skills.
