Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Tax Manager for a hybrid role in Denver, CO. The position offers ownership of client relationships and tax engagements, with a hands-on mix of technical work, client interaction, review, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Previous Tax Manager experience, or a Senior Tax professional ready to step into management.
• CPA or EA preferred.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong experience with individual and business tax compliance.
• Comfortable handling tax planning, research, and advisory work.
• Able to communicate directly and confidently with clients.
• Organized enough to manage multiple engagements without constant oversight.
• Strong technical judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

A Denver public accounting firm is looking for a Tax Manager who wants more than a title change.This person will have the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships and tax engagements, work through complex tax matters, and have a direct impact on the quality of work being delivered. The role is hands-on, with a mix of technical tax work, client interaction, review, and team support.
