The Opportunity

As a Tax Manager, you'll serve as a key leader within the tax practice while advising business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, and individual clients on complex tax matters and strategic planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Tax Planning & Advisory
  • Review and prepare complex individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns
  • Develop proactive tax planning strategies and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to reduce tax liabilities and improve client outcomes
  • Research federal, state, and local tax issues
  • Assist clients with year-round planning and strategic decision-making
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Work directly with business owners and decision-makers
  • Gather information necessary for tax compliance and planning engagements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on tax and business matters
  • Ensure exceptional client service and timely communication
Leadership & Team Development
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff accountants and tax professionals
  • Review work product and provide constructive feedback
  • Assist with onboarding and professional development initiatives
  • Help build future leaders within the organization
  • Foster collaboration and accountability within the team
Technical Excellence
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations
  • Conduct complex tax research projects

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Active CPA license
